The apartment’s rent depends on its location, age, size and equipment level. The rent includes electricity, water, heating, Internet (village network), as well as sauna (4 sessions per month). Rents can be found underneath the apartment descriptions.
The rent is to be paid by the sixth day of each month. Rent invoices for the entire calendar year will be sent to residents via email. The same invoice is used throughout the calendar year, we will not send a new invoice on a monthly basis. If you are using e-invoicing, we will send invoices electronically every month. You can also see all your invoices on Tenant Pages. Remember always to use the right reference number when paying the rent, and also check that the amount is correct. All payment details are provided in each invoice. Please retain all payment receipts/bank statements for proofs of paid rents. You can also find your payment information under your Tenant Pages but the information is updated there with a delay.
If the rent payment is delayed, the tenant is charged the applicable interest and collection fee. When rents have not been paid to the TYS account, collection of the rent will be transferred to a legal office. Unpaid rent can lead to a termination of the lease and to markings in your credit records. Couples are jointly responsible for paying the rent of family apartments, even when the other person has moved out of the apartment but no termination of that lease has been made. You can no longer negotiate about unpaid rents once they have been transferred to a collection agency.
A furniture fee is charged from tenants who have rented their apartments as furnished. The furniture fee is shown separately in each rental invoice.
Additionally, there may be other fees that are charged together with monthly rental invoicing related to continuous extra services such as a parking space fee. These are also itemised in the invoice.
Is it possible to pay your rent by e-bill. You activate the e-billing service though your internet bank by agreeing to the terms and conditions regarding e-billing. When this is done TYS will get a notification that you have started using the service and after that TYS will send your monthly rent bill directly to your internet bank, and not to your e-mail. If you consider this option please read through the terms and condition beforehand. When you wish to end this service please inform TYS about it. Your bank will not send a separate notification regarding you cancelling the service therefore you need to inform TYS otherwise your rent bill will continue to be sent to your internet bank and not to your e-mail.
