Eligible employees of TYS can give information of the register within the
limits of the law.

10. Rent accounts payable and receivable

and information transfers outside EU and ETA
1. To the board of the Student Village Foundation of Turku, employees and
accountants of TYS for running their work tasks.
2. For the tenant in question if he/she asks for this;
for example when applying for housing allowance from Kela.
3. To Kela for paying housing supplement or housing allowance (Kela uses indentity
number as identifying data).
4. To apartment authorities of the cities of Turku and Rauma for checking tenants’ rights
of residence.
5. To other
authorities, for example police and fire department.
6. Every tenant has a right to have his/her personal
data in the register.
7. Information is not given outside EU and ETA according to the rules.
6. Principles of protecting the register
Managing Director and TYS’s managers take care of the proper protection of the
register and that only eligible persons can change information in it.
