Päivänpaiste consists of four red-brick block apartment houses situated in Koivula near the Katariina natural park, Peltola colonial gardens and Uittamo seaside. Koivula shopping centre is located just next to Päivänpaiste, also the new shopping mall, Skanssi, is only a walking distance away. Also the bus connections to the city centre are good. Ruiskatu unit of Turku University of Applied Sciences and Peltola unit of Turku Vocational Institute are very close, so Päivänpaiste is an excellent option for persons who study there. There is also a kindergarten on the ground floor of building B.
