Applicants
TYS's student apartments are meant for all full-time students of post-secondary schools in the area of Turku or Rauma.
Persons who apply alone
· The single apartments are the most popular option and the housing queues for those apartments are the longest.
· It's easiest the get a shared apartment, as those we have most. We recommend applying those.
· The best possibility to get an apartment is to write to the application form that you are ready to accept any apartment type.
Family applicants
· Most family apartments are located in the Student Village (unfurnished) and for this reason we recommend families to apply there.
· Also in Ispuri, Iltakajo, Aamurusko and Kuunsillan we have many family apartments.
· Families with children get more points in the housing queue. Especially for 3 or 4 rooms apartments are mainly offered for families with children. For couples without children we recommend 2 room apartments.
Disabled applicants
Persons who have disabilities concerning accommodation are recommended to contact the Housing Office in advance for finding the best housing solution.
